Our Mission

The mission of Friends of Buffalo Creek Foundation (FOBC) is to expand access to high-quality youth development programming for students throughout the City of Buffalo.

We address one of the most significant barriers to youth participation—transportation—through Path Carver Transportation LLC, helping students access programs, activities, and opportunities beyond the school day.

Our youth development programming is carried out in partnership with three school-hosted Civil Air Patrol cadet squadrons located in the City of Buffalo. Together, these sister squadrons are known as our Buffalo City Units:

• NY-614 Buffalo Creek Cadet Squadron — hosted by REACH Academy Charter School

• NY-615 Buffalo Guardians Cadet Squadron — hosted by Western New York Maritime Charter School

• NY-616 Path Carver Cadet Squadron — hosted by Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School

Through the Buffalo City Units, students participate in leadership development, aerospace and STEM education, character development, emergency services, community service, aviation, and other hands-on learning opportunities.

By connecting youth programming, school partnerships, and transportation, FOBC works to ensure that more Buffalo students can access meaningful experiences that build leadership, confidence, service, and lifelong skills.
